Flying start on the grass - Tuesday, April 13, 2010

WRENINGHAM was off to a flying start! 

 

Winter is over and we are off to a great start for the new turf season.  Although the temprature was still a little chilly and the ground was soft, Yarmouth is always a favourite place to get things started for Newmarket yards after a long winter and we are no exception.  So we were delighted with the progress Wreningham has made since joining our yard this winter and he rewareded us with a convincing win.  Ridden by William Carson Wrenigham jumped quickest from the stalls and made an easy lead which was never challenged.

 

Boogie Waltzer ran really well to finish second.  The filly always trys so hard and even though she raced on her own throughout the race this tough little filly put in a great run and it wont be long till she is in the winnners enclousure again!

 

Both have come out of the race well.
