Impresive victories
THE SCORCHING WIND won back to back victories at Kempton. The first success was over a mile when given a confident ride by Chris Catlin. The second victory came three days later when ridden by William Carson to defy his 12lb penalty to win convincingly in quite a competive race over 7f as this was Kempton's richest race card of the flat season. The two wins came to end a frustrating run of seconds! We had three seconds in one day at Yarmouth as well as the two year old Lochbroom Sunset just getting beat a short head when despite drawing clear of the rest of the field got headed on the line. Obvioulsy we are not quite out of the rut yet as Billberry has just got beat a short head!
