Winner, second and third - Sunday, August 16, 2009

  Silver Prelude produced one of his customary winning displays once again. As is his style he left the stalls with lightning speed and gained an easy lead and was never headed.  Champion Jockey Ryan Moore had little more to do than point the old boy in the right direction.

 

Continuing the grey theme- Billberry and Zowington were entered in 'All the Greys race' on Saturday at Newmarket.  Stuart thought that Zowington was the stables best chance and hopeful that Billberry would run a big race.  They certainly didnt let us down! Zowington looked like the winner when just getting touched off by half a length with Billberry half a length behind in third.  All the greys have returned home in good order and enjoying life back in the paddock with the glorious sunshine on their backs.
