Itsher and William Carson take the initiative!
ITSHER won the first at Brighton under a strong ride from William Carson. Having walked the course a number of times Stuart and William both agreed that the better ground was down the stand side, and if they could get across to the outside rail this would give them a competive edge. Indeed it did! The filly won by four and a half lengths despite racing mostly on her own (all the other jockeys elected to stay farside). Stuart was delighted with the filly as she has an entry for the sales next week. Stuart said " William gave the filly a great ride in getting her across to the rail. This is why I always walk the course to try to find an edge over the other rivals and today it certainly worked! She is a gutsy filly and I hope to be able to sell her to stay in the yard, as I think there is more to come from her."
Needless to say the jockeys from there after also came down the stand side.
