Zowington wins feature race at Folkestone
ZOWINGTON made all to win the richest race ever to be run at Folkestone. The grey Zafonic gelding broke well from his high draw and won the race well despite a late run made by Filligree. Stuart said afterwards " We were drawn well, but the horse never looked like getting beat. I am so happy that he has won this race, the owner Mr Pointing is so supportive and such a great owner to have." William Carson was once again aboard and is now two for two on the gelding.
THE SCORCHING WIND completed a double for the yard when winning by 3 lengths. It looked to be a competive handicap at Doncaster, but Ryan Moore was always confident.
